I wouldn't have this problem if I have come before or I have the option to see the physical menu. I think I am expecting some more words from her maybe she could introduce what food items they serve or make some recommendation. And I am still not sure whether I am looking at the full menu. She didn't mention any of the food they serve. I didn't see a lot of items on the website (and you need to swipe up and down, and left and right so a bit confusing to me) I asked the server and she also seemed confused at my question and replied everything is there on the menu page and that's the whole conversation. I am a first time customer here and I was told I have to view the menu online. ![]() But I also agree with others the service could be better. My friend recommended this store to me and I'd totally agree that the Xiaolongbao is the best one I've ever tried in the Bay Area. Thank you for impressing me and my folks. He anticipated our need for to go boxes, was timely on my to go order, and was interested truly in our feedback. Overall the service was the last aspect of the experience that was perfect. The portions were large and generous.Īt the end the server asked how the food was with great courtesy. The entrees were bright and fresh and served hot. ![]() The hot and sour soup was balanced and very tangy and rich with hot tofu and mushrooms. My dad who normally skips anything with veggies, ate the entire side salad. The food itself was very good and high quality. The server started off on the right foot and was kind enough to offer my mother a complimentary salad and soup so she would not be left out of the coursing. My dad and I ordered a lunch special and my mom ordered the salt and pepper ribs a la carte. This is the most they have raved about a restaurant in a long time. I have been here once before for dinner and recommended my folks try it (they are picky with Chinese food). ![]() I think it’s safe to say Grandma isn’t going to want to eat here again.Ĭame here for lunch today with my parents. We told the waiter and he just looked at it and mumbled something very low took the plate and walked away….very odd. My grandma ordered a shrimp dish …… shrimp still had poop in its tail. Salad was ok (I’m usually obsessed with the salad I can eat mine plus my daughters ) my food was good I ordered the Mongolian beef w/fried rice Wonton strips where cold and not crunchy like they usually are. The manager looked upset when she seen us and quickly turned around and told the lady not to leave the door open next time because people can walk in.she waved her hand at the lady and said just hurry up! She turned then turned to us and said give me a min they are still cleaning. The cleaning lady greeted us with a smile. Opened at 11 but when we arrived cleaners where still mopping floors. Love this restaurant sometimes they have there off days. ![]()
